Jasslyn is a self taught seamstress who has been experimenting with sewing since she was 12, including running her own handmade market stall. She gained a Cert II in furniture making, developing wood working skills to build her own studio. However her passion in costuming lead Jasslyn to Melbourne Polytechnic’s Costume course where she has refined her skills and learnt what it means to design and collaborate in the costume department, working on costumes for NICA production, short films with Swinburne and Melbourne Polytechnic’s theatre shows. Jasslyn is eager to continue learning and growing in her skills, with a particular interest in costume and set design, using her many skills to collaborate across areas to express her creativity.
